Jordan's Fund Raising

Jordan developed the idea of a fund-raising activity this past year 2005. He was interested in raising money for some of the local Kenyan people that we meet on a daily or weekly basis. Hi idea was to connect with his school peers from St. Sylvester School in Canada. Jordan went to a jewelry business near our house and arrange for African necklaces and personal key changes. He negotiated a very reasonable price. He took pictures and made a flyer and emailed it to Canada. He was able to raise over $100.00 Canadian Funds or 5500.00 KShillings.

His grandparents (Ken and Dani) picked up the order before they left Canada to visit us in November. Jordan fulfilled the order and sent the merchandize back with them on their return flight in February. His other grandparents (Grampa Bud and MeMe) arrived with the funds to distribute.
