Eid and Diwali Celebrations

During the half-term break we attended two celebrations of Eid and Diwali. This is a very special time of year for the Muslimism and Hindu community. The celebration consisted of traditional dances, different types of food and many fireworks. What was very interesting is that the first few hours of the evening people brought their own fireworks to use. The evening ended with a spectacular firework displayed that last approximately 15 minutes.The last evening we went out for Chinese food – Ty wanted to dress like his father – matching orange shirts!
