Scott joined the Canadian Women's Team for the Norceca tournament in Puerto Rico. The Opening Ceremonies were held as a special event looking over the city of San Juan.
Scott was involved in several matches, but the final 2 matches were hotly contested. The semi-final Dominic Republic (3) - CUBA (2) - the match lasted almost 2.5 hours. He was also assigned as a referee in the Gold Match - it lasted over 2.5 hours with the 4th set 32-30. Dominic Republic 3-2 over host country Puerto Rico.
