Christmas 2006

We celebrated Christmas in Mombasa. Unfortunately Jordan had an acute asthma attack and was hospitalized on the 24^th of December and discharged on the 26^th. Santa Claus came to the house and the family traveled to join Jordan and his father at the hospital to open gifts. He was able to join everyone for the traditional boxing day dinner.

Animal Sanctuary

Our family visited an animal sanctuary on the 23^rd of December. We were able to see giraffes very close as well as other animals. The highlight of the evening was having a barbeque with the animals and singing Christmas carols. One family even brought marshmallows to roast on the open fire. Christmas away from home was made a bit more special as we miss family and friends.
