Watch Me Grow

In Brenda’s Year 1 class, the Unit of Inquiry was titled ‘Watch Me Grow.’ Students planted seeds and over a short period of time transplanted the flowers into a garden. Parents and students enjoyed the garden and the activities.

Long Weekend - Tiwi Beach

We joined the Webers for a great long weekend excursion to the south coast – Tiwi Beach. We rented an estate cottage that celebrates would be envious of. The cottage came with cooks as well. The pictures will tell the story!

North America University Fair

The school was honored to host the 2007 Council of International Schools (CIS) – North American University East African Tour. We had 15 different universities from Canada and the United States including: Drake University, Brown University, Columbia University, Savannah College of Art and Design, Trent University and York University. Universities provided a small presentation to the students of the Academy followed by a university fair with schools from the coastal communities being invited. There were over 300 students in attendance. Scott organized the university visit and fair, while Ms. Becky Crossley organized the Diploma 1 students to host all visitors on campus.
