Vikings Volleyball Play the Dinos

Scott arranged for the Senior Boy's and Girl's Volleyball teams to practice with the University of Calgary Dinos. It was a great practice and a great way to finish the season.

Calgary Stamperders - Grey Cup Champions

The McLeans joined the Choates for the 96th Grey Cup game. The Calgary Stampeders were playing the home-town favorites the Montreal Alouettes. The Calgary team came away with a 22-14 victory. Next year - the Grey Cup game will be held in Calgary.

Tait is Wrestling for the Vikings

Tait enthusiastically joined the St. Vincent Vikings wrestling team. She had a meet at the school and won 4/5 matches and pinned two opponents.

Tait's Basketball - Bowling Party

Tait's Panthers Basketball team had a fun night with families bowling at the Calgary Winter Club. The girls had lots of laughs and fun.

Dinos Football

The McLean boys, including Scott, watched the Dinos football team in Western Playoff action. The Cup game was called Hardy and they played the Clan from Simon Fraser BC. Dinos won the game 44-21 with many touch downs and interceptions on defense.

President's Ball

Brenda and Scott joined friends at the annual President's Ball at the Calgary Winter Club. This was an early birthday present. Lots of fun and giggles.

Jordan's Inferno Soccer

Jordan remained on the same team as the outdoor season. The team is made up of mainly 16 years of age. They have been very competitive throughout the season. During the seeding round, they went an impressive 9-1. Jordan's position is left wing. They were seeded in the top playoff round.

The team ended up second in the playoff round and second in the inter-cities playoffs.

Jordan was also selected for the 'coaches award' for his effort and transition from Kenya returning back to Canada. He was presented with the trophy after a fun-day at paintball in Cochrane.

Tait' s Panthers Basketball

Tait joined the Varsity Panthers basketball season. Her position is 'point guard'. Tait was an aggressive performer scoring many of the teams baskets. The team went 5-1 in divisional play; and were seeded in the C2 playoff round. The Panthers won their playoff round and teh goal medal.

Kyle's Spitfire Indoor Soccer.

Kyle joined the Northstar Indoor Soccer Team - U12 Spitfires. They came third in the division with a 4-3 record. They were placed in the second division for playoff round.

Halloween Apples - 08

It was the first time in over three years that the McLeans could participate in a Canadian Halloween. The children were very excited to get outside and enjoy the festivities. It was a very calm and warm eveing (10 degrees). The week before Halloween, the Berrys family joined us for some wild pumpkin carving.

Tait - Viking Jr. Girls Volleyball Member

Tait joined the girls volleyball squad; mainly comprised of grade 7 with a few grade 8 girls. There are no set positions as the players rotate and all have an opportunity to set and spike. There is no set schedule or city playoffs.
