Easter Break in Mexico

We traveled to Cabo and Cabo San Lucas over the spring break. The children engaged in many activities such as swimming in the waves, surfing, swimming with dolphins, and adveture in the canyon (zip-lining). Tait spent the school break with a friend on a farm in the Red Deer area.

Celebrating the 15 Year Old Birthdays

Brenda hosted the Choates and Evans to celebrate teh birthdays - Jordan, Logan and Robert. Brenda and Ty organized a Surviviors Africa with the Zulu and Masai teams. There were many challenges, which included accuracy, speed, agility, and eating abilities. It was a great way to celebrate with friends.

Tait is a Member of the Drama Production

Tait performed an audition for the school play. She was chosen as a performer - Little Red - in the Fractured Fairytale. She was able to memorize her lines and practiced hard, especially the last week before the performance. Tait and the rest of the actors completed three performances. All grandparents attended in the evening.

Other performers were: Robin (Bernardo Pacheco), Cinderella (Sami Bellissimo), Charming (Zach Frey), Rapunzel (Carolina Espino), Gretel (Clarire Gummo), Narrator (Dhritiman Saha), Hansel (Sydney Gess), Miss Muffet (Maggie Geis), Eugene the Spider (Sarah Ghebrezghi).

Kyle's Birthday

Kyle celebrated his birthday in Calgary at the MRC climbing wall.

Jordan Attends the P.A.R.T.Y. Program

Jordan's grade 9 class attended the PARTY Program at the Foothills Hospital (Prevent Alcohol and Risk Related Trauma in Youth). It was a full day presentation that included discussions with the police, fire fighter, occupational therapist and a victim of trauma. They also had role plays and questionnaire to complete.

Tait Joins Vincent Jr. Basketball Squad

Tait made the Jr. Basketball team. They played a few tournaments - she was the MVP at the Airdre tournament. The team played very well. She plays the point guard position.
